Not a course. The registrar and the mailbox vendor cost extra — you pay them, not Piratech.
Search the name. If it’s free, buy it at a registrar — Cloudflare, Namecheap, Porkbun, Google, or Squarespace. You should be the owner; one year is enough. Turn on WHOIS privacy if they offer it. You pay the registrar, not Piratech.
Your host will say “connect a domain” and give you nameservers or a few DNS records — often A or CNAME. Put those at the registrar. Wait. It can take minutes or a few hours. If the name still doesn’t load, the records are usually wrong, not the site.
One page is enough: who you are, what you do, how to reach you. Google Sites, Squarespace, or a single HTML file on any static host all work. It has to load when someone types the name. Pretty can wait.
info@yourname is Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, or Fastmail — not a Gmail alias. They will ask you to add MX records, and usually a TXT record, at the registrar. You pay that vendor monthly. Until those records stick, mail will bounce.
